She acts in a very prim and proper way, always having a good posture and amazing etiquette. Seohyun won’t be found disrespecting her elders, not unless the world is coming to an end. This proper attitude is not always appropriate however, as she even acts this way when she’s with people she knows very well, even speaking politely to the other members of SNSD, whom she has known for many years now and who she’s come to see as family. This habit of hers often leads to playful ridicule from others.

Seohyun is a very calm and quiet person, and always has been. During interviews, she will rarely just butt in with her opinions and instead wait quietly until she’s addressed. If she’s not being addressed, she won’t speak, most of the time. Seohyun is better at listening than speaking. Her speech is almost always formal, and casual talk sounds unnatural coming from her.

[/b] she greeted them quietly as she put her book down on the table, “Would you like some assistance setting the table?” she asked Hyoyeon, and upon hearing her unnie’s response, she abandoned her book and went to fetch the plates and glasses, and all the other things they’d be needing. Afterwards, she sat down and quietly began to read her book. The delicious of Hyoyeon’s freshly cooked breakfast had woken some of the other members up, and slowly but surely, the kitchen filled up with girls. Happy chatter filled the room, along with some complaining from others that it was too early to be cheerful. Taeyeon was going through their schedule for today, and informed the rest of them on what they’d have to do and reminded them to work hard.

“Work hard, we have to work hard~” Sunny replied in a singsong voice as she wrapped her arms around Taeyeon and put on the most cutesy face one could manage at this hour, Taeyeon for her part just playfully smacked the girl over the head with the papers she was holding. Sunny’s aegyo may have been endearing to the public, it really wasn’t popular with the other members. “Hyoyeon, how much longer until breakfast? I’m starving!” Sooyoung whined a little from her spot by the table. It seemed like it would still take a little while until she finished, which gave Seohyun a wonderful idea! If she took her shower now, the others wouldn’t have to wait so long later.

“I’m going to take a shower,” she announced, putting her book down. “No!” Hyoyeon was the first to reply, though the other members looked quite shocked as well, “I worked hard on this! You have to eat it while it’s warm!”
“I will not be long…” Seohyun tried defensively, but received only headshakes and the occasional giggle here and there.
“By the time you’re finished, we will have woken Jessica and Yoona up, held a concert in every single country of the world, made contact with aliens and turned Sunny into a mature person.” Sooyoung joked. “You are not taking a shower before me!” Yuri replied, alarm evident in her voice.
With a slight pout, Seohyun sat back down, though her pout wasn’t having the effect she wanted it to have at all. She really wasn’t that bad, was she? “Unnie~~” she pouted as she grasped Taeyeon’s arm, who repeated her earlier action of paper-whipping. “Not gonna work Maknae!”
