Jessica's very sociable and loves her friends. Even though she can be cold at times doesn't mean she's a jerk. She's very appreciative towards her fans and generally handles fans pretty well, so friends outside the industry is totally fine. Jessica gets along well with boys and girls, though she tends to be shier around charming boys that she's not close to. With the boys she is close to though, she'll be more rough and boy-ish. She loves shopping, so she'll be able to keep up with girly girly friends as well.
Jessica wouldn't have as many family or even close friends, because she takes her family, or whoever is considered as family very seriously. She'd consider most of the girls in SNSD family and if anything, close friends would most likely be fellow idols, unless she knew someone outside of the industry that she had a history with (whatever it might be).
Jessica doesn't flirt much, due to her shyness around boys. It would be hard for her to be in a serious relationship because of general trust issues, though she might have a few crushes here and there.
Naturally, she could come off as just too cold or too harsh. Being straightforward and speaking her mind sometimes could obviously be offensive to some people. Due to her competitive nature, she'll have to encounter some enemies, or even some friendly competition.
