Dear miss Choi Jaehwa is a seventeen year old idol trainee for YG Entertainment. She came to South Korea only six months before the RP present, originally from the USA. She's sweet, bubbly, cute and always fun to be around, and has a deepset passion for dance, music, and horses. Loves to party, have fun and get as drunk as she can, while still looking hot doing it.
Underneath this happy exterior, however, is a lonely and grieving girl who has grown up without a mother her entire life. Drama seems to follow her wherever she goes.
MY FRIENDS SAY
THAT YOU'RE NOT REALLY WORTH IT Jaehwa is the type who needs a close-knit group of friends, those she can rely on when she needs them (and vice versa.) Because she's a foreigner, life in South Korea is pretty hard to adjust to, especially seeing as she's also an idol trainee.
She also comes with a lot of problems. A mother who died in childbirth, eating disorders, alcoholism and a tendency to be a little flaky, so all of that has really hurt her deep down where only best friends could get to her.
Anyway, she's a very friendly girl, so close buds or acquaintances she makes easily, people have a hard time resisting her natural charisma. She'd probably be friends with a lot of idols, especially those from YG. Any idols who'd be willing to take her under their wing, so to speak, while she's learning the ropes of stardom would be much appreciated.

I assume there would be some, maybe those who end up finding out her deepest secrets and using it against her, idk. Koreans who don't take well to American idols and trainees would be another, too. Other idol trainees who are vying for number one and see her as a threat, or maybe some who just will not get along with her, you decide.

JAEHWA: HyunA <3 So, I really don't know how or when they'd meet, and if they did, that they'd get along. Ryeowook's a sweetheart overall but there are still things one can dislike about him, like how he's so shy —almost annoyingly so. Not to mention, they're under different record labels, so they won't see each other all that much. But, if they ever did meet and got off on the right foot, I think they could be friends: the kind that nobody gets, because they shouldn't click, but they do. Did that make sense? and I found lyrics from She's Country in the intro and love sections, haha. x3
PS: The fact that you know Agent Angel? <3 I legitimately squealed.

dear jaehwa,
seunghyun and jaehwa would definitely know each other, being part of yg and all. i think that these two have so much in common that it'd be kind of hard for them to not be friends. they could talk about fashion together, talk about books, seunghyun would probably be a bad influence on her studies, laugh at over-done aegyo, and if they were to ever get really really close maybe something about the overweight thing (but i highly doubt that would ever happen, just because.). also, i think that if they were to ever go to one of yg's bars or whatever, or just whenever they go out to a club that they could dance together as well, too.

Hehe yayyy, Hyuna! *glomps photos* lol she probably wouldn't mind the shyness, still could get on her nerves at times though, I think (she's a new charrie for me, I'm still working out the kinks with her XD) And yeah, that does. It would be cool to have that YG/SM friendship, I'm sure it does go on lol
We'll figure out how they meet and stuff, currently my mind is going through a blank stage lol

So much in common it's insane lol Sounds like definite friends! I had to LOL at the aegyo part, that is so something she'd do, in between facepalming and trying to work out why girls do it in the first place.
She's very laidback in personality so that casual joking around friendship with a guy would be good for her, take her mind off things and such.
Eating disorder - possibility, but as you said, not entirely likely? I would say the first person she'd talk to about her EDNOS would be a girl, maybe an idol who'd understand the pressure to be beautiful. It is one of her most darkest secrets after all.
Also, if he wouldn't mind a bit of underage drinking on her part during partying, those two would be perfect for going High High XD (oh gosh that was cheesy.)

JAEHWA: Haha, he'll try not to drive her up the wall with his introversion, then. Yeah, I'm quite sure it goes on too xD As for ideas on how they'd meet there's always the run into on the street, though I guess that's a little overdone. Maybe they caught the same cab? Like, it was raining and there weren't many taxis around, so either Jaehwa or Ryeowook noticed the other standing outside in the rain and asked if they needed to share. LOL I'm not even sure where that idea came from. Idk, I might think of something else if you don't like this one. lolol, let's make them male and sexy  And I've only met about four =/ So you can understand my excitement~ Which of the installments is your favorite?

I'm sure I read somewhere that 2ne1 and SHINee had a close friendship, but don't quote me on that.
You haven't read my novels then >.< Until revision, about 90% of my characters meet by literally running into each other and falling over. How original am I. LOL I like that idea, though, it's so cute! And I don't know why but I found it very funny too XD I can just imagine one or the other having like, no umbrella and standing out in the freezing rain, and the other feeling sympathetic and offering a helping hand. Sweet scenes involving helping hands start friendships *nods*
LOL deal. My two best friends are mad on the series, so we call ourselves the Cosmic Musketeers. In fact, a lot of Jaehwa's personality is based on my RP version of Mel Beeby, I used to have an AA rpg open but nobody joined  Ah, definitely Going for Gold and Keeping it Real. Maia is the best demoness ever, and the one where she goes back home is soooo sad and beautiful!

Lucky! No one I'm close to has ever heard of it xD And you had one? If I'd known about it I would've joined! D= Going for Gold <3 And Maia made me really mad the first time I read it, but she did make the story better and I grew to appreciate her xD

First off, I really like your character. x)
Jaehwa and Byeongkeun are very similar - He's lived in America as well and he's also very charismatic and fun to be around. Since he's the most popular guy in school, he needs to be around people who are also emotional and have his energy. He loves parties too and all of his socializing makes his schoolwork suffer. He also needs that close-knit group of friends and I think they would work out well because he's naturally very protective and nurturing. Plus, they're the same age and he'll definitely need connections outside of school. c: Not to mention he's taken an interest to music performance.
I think Jaehwa and Byeongkeun would be a nice dynamic contrast to his subplot since the girl that loves him is quiet, conservative, often gets picked on.
So relationship-wise, they could be very close friends? She would be able to call him at any time and he'd be sure that things are alright. He'd be understanding of her issues and drama (since he has that duality also).

Yeah deffo, I'll start the thread later due to me suddenly having to disappear soon (mothers >.<) And probably the first meeting situation, although I'm not entirely sure /where/ to begin, I'lll figure out when I get back.
It was actually what brought me close to my BFF! That and the Latest Buzz, without those two things I wouldn't have met her XD Yup, a long time ago, like in 2009. Aww, well it's the thought that counts!  I'm thinking of reopening it, but maybe not /so/ much like AA, just based off of it. A lot of people didn't join cause they didn't get the plot :/
lol I always loved Maia, badass demons ftw! I do a lot of writing fanfics about her, although she had quite a change of profession once I got my hands on her XD I won't say what to keep this thread G-rated.
PS - I don't get the Mel/Brice pairing. I'm still a Mel/Reuben fan from a long time ago

Yeah, those two could definitely work as friends! I think just from her upbringing, she would be really accustomed to guy friends rather than girls (especially if the Korean girls are the aegyo cutie type). Having only a brother and father means she grew up with only a male influence.
Once again, I'm plotting lol
And whereas Jaehwa can be very outgoing, extroverted and party animal like... Yes, that make sense XD She could be the one that gives Keun a chance to let his hair down, you know?
Also she'd be very grateful for that level of close friendship-ness, and if he ever needed /her/ back, she'd be willing to give it too.
Maybe the two met in school, same class or "cafeteria meet" and then started hanging more outside of it to develop the friendship? Idk I'm bad at that kinda stuff lol

XD cheesy. He's the hyung that tells everyone he's cool, and to not let the whole older thing get in the way. he's pretty chill about that stuff and about the whole drinking thing. i doubt he'd really care about that, unless she were to completely over do it while around him. anyways, she'd probably be one of the girls that he wouldn't feel completely or almost-entirely awkward around. ^^
