minki has always been a little rebellious and confident. and when he walks into the room there's an immediate sense of it. as well as his indifference to the people actually in the room. he's confident, he flaunts it. no, it's not the snobby, up-turned nose kind of thing, but more of a debonair, "i don't care" sort of thing. don't come to him for advice unless you're really close. because over three-quarters of the time he doesn't care, and he admits it. he's blunt and bold. and an honest friend that could honestly give a rat's ass about anyone else's problems but his own. but if the person is lucky enough to be in his close inner circle, then he will help.

after his solo career ended, minki came back more pessimistic than when he left, or rather when he was more optimistic and stubborn enough to walk out on his parents. at first it was like walking around on eggshells around him, always fearing that he would blow at any second. the simplest thing could have set him off, or spiraling back down into madness (or whatever it is to be called), where he'd lock himself in a room or studio screaming into a pillow or writing so much (only to crumple the paper later) until his hand cramped. it's not quite so bad now, but there are still those times, and he is rather quick to anger. also, rather moody.[/ul]

OVERALL HISTORY:

[/i]. as in they came after great rock artists, but they were to cause a shock to the new generation. cheesy is what present minki would call the name. anyways, minki was the guitarist. after a year and a half the group got picked up by a company. they hadn't been extremely spectacular, but they improved as they went on, picking up lots of devoted fans.

a couple of years went by, and korean pop sky rocketed. everything seemed to change once they hit their third year of being part of a label: demands made by the management, interests of fans, musical interests of the band, and a feeling of displacement and unjustice seemed to take over. there were arguments on who was the true leader of the band, over jealousy of how some members got too much face, disputes caused by changes of personality and changes of interest in music (which yes, had mostly been written by them). not to mention the spread of rumours done by netizens. which eventually, weren't much of rumours as the band had split up.

some joined other bands, went into different fields of work, dropped off the face of the planet or went solo. minki had the option to go solo if he wanted to. no, it was his near-only option. he was not going to lose his dream of music, but he was way too stubborn to be brought into a new band as anything other than aftershock. solo it was. his lyric writing skills were up to par, and he could be his own guitarist. his singing abilities on the other hand weren't that bad, but they weren't superb either. that was something he was criticized for later on in his short-lived solo career. accused of lipsyncing, plagiarism, surgery, and many scandalous scandals involving women and drinking (a lot of which, hadn't ever happened), minki's dream career just became a nightmare.

since then, minki slowly slinked out of the music scene, fading away, to where he's been for the last two years. he set up a restaurant near mudangbeolle with his younger brother jungkyu called the palace. on top resides a little nest (a studio), where he works on music and occasionally holds guitar lessons for the lucky kid. oh yes, the restaurant owning life is nice, but not nearly as much as what he'd hoped (and still dreams of) become of his music career. maybe someday... if he braves the fiestiness of the industry again before his youth is gone.
