oh minki ,
twenty-six | single | straight | ex-musician | playboy. minki is a twenty-six year old many that used to perform in a band called aftershock as the guitarist before he went solo. after he went solo, he went through some tough times, so he dropped from the music industry. since then (it's been two years) he's been living as fancy as possible, and just a bit more quieter than before. he co-owns a restaurant known as the palace with his younger brother, jungkyu. there's a studio above the restaurant, and occasionally you can hear some of his lessons or maybe he will perform for the night. minki has always been extremely stubborn, and a quick fuse to blow. but after what he'd been through everything seemed to heighten, especially bitterness. friends should beware of that, and his moodiness. i doubt he'd have very many close friends that he'd be very open with or anything. mostly just a few friends that he could chill out with at a bar, and could make him laugh and relax. minki gets annoyed easily, and angers easily. he's dramatic and throws a few bitch fits. he drinks (on certain occasions, rather heavily) so maybe there's a friend that is sick of having to pay his taxi fare or is tired of having to bring him home/back to their home for the night. he's bitter and snarky, and a huge playboy flirt. so if any of those annoy you (not to mention, if there's a person that hadn't liked his music in the first place) then being an enemy is perfect. with love, it's all fun and games. minki doesn't like long-lasting relationships. he's all about the thrill as well as not being so involved. he hates when it starts to get serious. he can be romantic (he likes to cook for girls) and he can be selfish and cruel but it usually never gets to that. he likes buying girls things and the cutesy messages he can handle, but the second they stop, the relationship is over and he wants nothing more to do with that person. i don't really know what i'm saying anymore because i'm tired. but check out his profile |

Maybe Byeongkeun could look up to Minki?
Byeongkeun's interested and music, plus he's already used
to the party settings and all. He should have tons of friends
asides from school too, and I looked at the age difference, but that shouldn't be a big problem. I guess they wouldn't have
a close relationship, but they could hang out whenever

'cause minnie would just be like: "wtf is wrong with you?" and all somewhat-arrogant about it as well. maybe minki's gone into byeongkeun's mom's cafe a few times for a coffee run or something and he struck up a short conversation with him? or like, maybe because byeongkeun's interested in music he's heard of minki and came to the restaurant to find him and talk to him? and then they just kind of started a routine meeting for every so often? /spazz kim bum<333

 No worries! Sounds good - Keun's going to need someone who's arrogant, xD since when he's in school, he's the the top-dog, but hanging out with someone he looks up too will keep him in check. I like the music idea better since it actually goes around with your character being an ex-idol and Keun's initial interest in music. They could totally set up meeting routinely for whenever too. x) I think it'll be a nice contrast <3 especially personality-wise. |

byeongkeun[/i][/color][/font] it'd be funny in a way, because i can see minki thinking, at times, that keun acts sorta like he did when he was younger. i also see him being bipolar on the topic of music, and like all pissy-ish at times and then talking about it like it was his lover or something. i dunno, but they'd be cool. ^^

jungkyu[/i][/color][/font] not anything major. my mind's kind of frazzled right now for ideas. x.x but minki will have started dating someone recently. he wouldn't be taking it that serious of course, but it is something that he would have told jungkyu (and probably bragged about too, seeing as both of them are the fickle and flirtatious types). idk if that brings any plot or thread ideas to mind, though.
a few ideas that just came to me are: one, the two taking off for a weekend or something and going out on a trip to some other town, maybe getting some bonding accomplished (or not). two, a cooking lesson. or minki burning food in the kitchen and jungkyu trying to save it. or three, a meeting with the family over something, or jungkyu finding something minki wrote and trying to convince him of publishing again or to continue (or maybe just keeping it until minki finds it and gets mad  )
idk, i've just got smallish ideas. but if you've got anything at all, then share. i'd absolutely love to hear it 'cause i'm kinda running on empty

Okay okay so I'm speed typing this because I'm about to head out. Er someone shot my muse so nothing's happening up here plot wise eee sorry!
I like all the ideas -flips-? Maybe we could merge them? Oh kyu is currently holding auditions for musicians at the palace you know background live music and all (: maybe minki would take offense? He's be pretty miffed that Kyu didn't offer him the job plus he stole his music. I don't know how that would work haha but I'm trying xD it would be sort of a bicker-ific relationship?

What if he had the live band or whatever play one of Minki's old songs? I mean the fact that he went behind Minki's back for auditions would piss him off. But if Jungkyu tried to make it better by having them play an old song, it'd just be awful. Minnie would get heated, and then it'd just be a big mess because Jungkyu wouldn't have done it with the intention of hurting him like that and Minnie would sort of think that. Plus afterwards maybe they could just calm down together over a beer or something in the middle of the night. Idk not soon after but have some sort of talk.

Oh yes, that sounds perfect. Definitely. I'm pretty behind on threads but I could try to start it at some point, unless you'd like to. And then I could start the road trip thread when we get to it, or whatever.
