[/s] expected by friday. It was a friday night, but still friday nonetheless. He nodded a quick goodbye to the statue of the school's founder. Mr Lee Jungmin had been good company during those long nights where he had to work late into the nights. His only company, in fact. Jaeryun walked out of the empty campus, satisfied with himself. A quick trip using the subway soon got JR home. He had always liked the idea of living alone. Sure rent was a tricky situation to handle but he got by, through his part time photographer gigs. Maybe he'd turn professional after graduation. Maybe not. The possibilities seemed endless. Finally, home sweet home. JR stepped out of the lift sighing. All he wanted to do right now was to take a shower and crash, maybe get some food. Food sounded good, really good right now. He hadn't eaten since lunch and he was craving sushi. Were boys supposed to have cravings? He wasn't sure if that was normal but that didn't bother him too much. JR reached into his bag looking for his keys. "Hmm" he wondered, searching deeper into his bag. His keys weren't there. "Shit" he mumbled, launching himself into a searching frenzy. He sighed in exasperation, deciding to try his last resort. "Hyung...Hyung...Hyung--" he called out with increasing volume each time. Jae sighed in resignation, giving up. Even if his brother came over, he would probably be drunk, face down on the couch. Shouting too loudly would probably wake the neighbors and result in an eviction. Out of all the times his brother decided to crash, why not today. "Erfghsk" he grumbled softly, sitting down. Great, his landlord worked nights so he would have to wait till morning to get the door open. Tonight, he would be a hobo. A homeless dude sleeping right outside his ... home. Nothing I like better than the floor he though to himself, sitting down on the steps. After an hour of staring into space, Jaeryun soon nodded off. By morning, he was sprawled across the floor asleep, in the most unglamorous way possible. Over the hours, his head soon hit the floor and he assumed his regular sleeping position, holding on tightly to his bag like a pillow. The poor boy had completely forgotten about his current situation and it seemed that he was under the false idea that he was back inside, asleep. [/ul] make it pretty later xD

Saturday had always been a relaxing day for her since she had no school work to finish and SAGE didn't have practice until the day after anyway. She hadn't been greeted by any of the neighbors yet, nor did she expect it, but that reminded Haneul to make some goodies for her best friends. Today was a rest day after all, and the girls always appreciated the surprise.
Even though Haneul routinely stays up very late at night, she miraculously isn't grumpy waking up early in the morning. Over the span of two hours of fresh daylight, she packed four bento boxes and a giant pitcher of their favorite mixed fruit drink in a wrapping cloth. Making bento box lunches was one of her favorite things to do, creating cute panda bears and vienna sausage octopuses. Expecting the day to become hotter than the cold morning air was, Haneul made sure the pitcher was freezing cold for transportation. Warm juice was just gross. Haneul carefully balanced the four boxes on one arm, letting them lean against her body as she walked and held the somewhat heavy pitcher in the other. Struggling, she aimlessly grabbed at the door, trying to twist the doorknob. Oh how disastrous it would be if she ran into someone while carrying the dangerously tipping boxes.
Of course, not expecting to run into anyone this early, Haneul let her guard done, taking a quick peek over her stacked lunch boxes for anyone that would be spontaneously exiting their door. With no one in sight, she took confident and unsuspecting steps towards the glass door of the apartment building, re-positioning the lunch boxes and slipping pitcher.
Trip! She hadn't travelled far from her door to the point where she tripped over a leg? It sure felt like a leg, but what would a leg be doing there? She already checked to make sure nobody was around... It was a rather dramatic trip, causing the end result of a food trainwreck. Luckily, three bento boxes survived, being new and completely sealed, but one spilled out, a panda bear rice ball rolling and hitting the opposite wall. Her face went from happy to mortified as she looked up to see the squished panda rice ball. While she was horrified to see that panda ball murder in her own world, she didn't realize that the leg actually belonged to someone and that the freezing cold drink from the now empty pitcher had spilled all over him. She discarded her natural instinct to mourn over her food creations when she saw the boy that was hugging his backpack, now awake.
"Ahhh!" she exclaimed, frantically unwrapping the wrapping cloth that she used to hold the lunch boxes together. She was curious about why he was out there in the first place, but she focused on the drink that she had spilled on him. Bending down onto her knees, she dabbed his cheek, the dark red juice noticeably on it. Fearing that she had made a terrible first impression on her neighbor, only one door away, she spewed apology after apology. "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry - I didn't see you there! Since... people usually don't sleep outside their doors, but I didn't do it on purpose and I'm normally not clumsy!" She realized that most of his shirt was covered, causing her to freak out even more. [/s] shocked him. A sudden splash of cold water made his eyes fly right open. Wha-? Was the thought that came to mind. He sat upright instantly, clutching on to his bag. Blinking a few times he tried to make sense of the situation. A girl was staring at him in shock. Or maybe amusement. Yeah sleeping on the floor wasn't the best idea. He rarely had the best ideas. He was cold. No surprise there, it was winter. But he felt something dripping down his face. He stuck his tongue out, tasting whatever that was dripping down his cheek. Hmm wasn't bad. It was sweet and tangy. Fruit juice? He thanked his stars that she didn't spill garbage or anything hot on him. He winced as she used a cloth to wipe his face. A stranger was wiping his face. He sure wasn't used to such kindness, especially from such a pretty girl. Jae smiled awkwardly, taking the cloth gently from her. "I'll do it" he told her with a small smile, wiping the juice off his face. She did point out that it was his fault to be sleeping there. Jae nodded at that point, still half awake and cold. It was partially his fault too, that was undeniable. "uh" he began but she cut him off with her frantic apology. She was apologizing so quickly that he could barely get a word in. Deciding to take charge, he grabbed her be the shoulders, interrupting her apology "It's fine" he assured her although Jae was mentally doing face palms. He couldn't help but frown when she freaked out even more. Jae wasn't the quickest kid on the block, he didn't know that his shirt was dripping wet. Looking down at the spot she was looking at, his eyes widened. He made a face as he pulled the sticky garment away from him, "That's going to be a pretty stain" he remarked, flapping his shirt, trying in no avail to dry the juice. Giving up, he looked up at the perpetrator who seemed genuinely sorry. "at least it's not on my pants" he told her before looking down. "Good Gandhi" he exclaimed, looking down at his soaked pants. Guess the spill-age was far more severe than expected. The dark red juice had done it's damage on his beige jeans. It looked severely wrong. He realised how eye catching the stain looked on his pants. Jae reacted by tossing his bag on his lap, blocking the stain from his neighbor's view. He was pretty sure she noticed it but he cleared his throat, trying to think of another less awkward and invasive subject. "uh that was rather... sweet ... and cold. What was it?" he asked the girl trying to get her to calm down. The last thing he needed was for her to feel guilty. No harm done, major harm at least. As it on cue, he sneezed. It must have been a painful mixture of late night, sleeping in the cold and having cold liquid poured on him. [/ul] make it pretty later xD

Some people even over reacted to an accidental bump or trip and either told her or directed mean comments at her. It would've been alright if she meant it, but to some over-reactionary people, she took caution in insulting them or making them angry. Those people made her accustomed to her apology barrage.
In all honesty though, she probably wouldn't have reacted this frantically if he didn't have such a pretty face. It was bad enough that she spilled something over a stranger, staining their clothes, but it was even worse when everything spilled on a handsome neighbor. Haneul knew how important first impressions were, because first impressions opened up opportunities to show someone who she was. Creating a bad impression on her neighbor would make her stay less comfortable and she didn't want that.
Being able to regain a bit of her composure, Haneul watched engrossedly, concentrating on him when he took the cloth from her. As soon as he grabbed her shoulders though, she immediately felt much more relieved. Inhaling deeply, she grabbed the now empty lunch box that slid from the crash site and played with it while looking bashfully at him.
Considering that her own over reaction would call out the other neighbors, Haneul convinced herself to sit quietly. She wouldn't want the curious neighors coming out to check out the commotion and seeing some guy on the floor with red splatters all over him and the floor, only to find out that it was a silly accident.
She found a dry spot and sat down on her legs that were folded in one direction. If only she had this great of an aim in sports or something else that was useful. Feeling a little out of place, she merely stared at him trying to get as much of the liquid off of his clothes since there wasn't much she could do at this point. She inhaled deeply and watched him blot off the major splotches with the now fully drenched cloth. With a cloth that was as wet as this one, it wouldn't really be more of any help besides spreading the stains around even more. Haneul looked up at him and pleasantly gave him a shy smile. "Ah... yes. It's a mixture of uh, she said, actually trying to put in some thought in remembering how she made the drink. She had put a lot of time in the morning to make the drink for her friends. Maybe a little too much time, spending hours perfecting something no matter how small it was. Having gone through a ton of fruits, Haneul had a hard time remembering what was in this batch. As if she remembered a hard worked solution to a test, she lifted her finger, and remembering a few ingredients she told him, "Mm, yes! There's some pomegranate in there - oh, and grapes, but not too much. It's maybe a little sour because of some citrus fruit thing I added, but, hmm... I think that's it." Even if he might've asked her about the drink just to calm her down, it surely worked. As she drifted into her own world, she felt relieved. Oh, but the boy was still drenched.
The boy was most likely locked out. Well, he obviously was. Was there even anyone inside? Or... he must have left his keys somewhere. Hearing a sneeze come from him startled her, though it shouldn't have. It was freezing, it was morning, he'd been out here all night, -and- she spilled a pitcher of cold drink all over him. Oh my! Is he... sick?! Haneul observed him carefully, and felt it was an appropriate situation to invite her neighbor over. She wasn't late for her surprise either since she left early, so that would be no problem. "Would you like to come in? I can get you a dry change of clothes." Taking the useless wet towel from him, she asked, now encouragingly with a couple of "hmms." She couldn't just leave this cute, wet puppy outside. he nodded his head, giving her a semi bow subconsciously. He returned her shy smile with the same bashful smile. They really were quite similar when it came to meeting strangers and awkward situations. Jae listened earnestly to her rant about the juice, it seemed to take her mind off her little faux pas so that was good. It surprised him that she actually used fruits to make them, he’d had the impression that something this sticky and sweet came from a processed plastic bottle. Wow that was a lot of effort for juice. Her detailed juice recipe reminded him that that was what he needed, someone who could cook and look after him. A dog was out of the option; he was terrible at looking after people or animals for that matter. After she finished describing, a small cloud seemed to pass over her face. She was still feeling guilty wasn’t she? Jae laughed softly, Wow, that’s a lot of…red fruits.” he pointed out, ”By the way did you know that pomegranate is fantastic for the skin? Anti oxidant properties can be very…anti oxidizing…” he joked before catching himself, ”I worked at the Face Shop once so I know these things…I’m not gay or anything” he explained quickly, running his fingers through his hair. It was his turn to smile shyly. So much for trying to be a tall dark and mysterious neighbor. The sneeze took him by surprise. He was never one to fall sick but it was probably a chain reaction from all those late nights and instant ramen. The cold morning shower was probably just a trigger and she was just plain unlucky. The invitation came warmly, because it was really cold out there. But then again, manners first, he couldn’t be seen taking advantage of a sonyeo (girl) because that’d just be wrong. Are you sure?” he asked her before smiling at her encouraging “hmms”. It sure took a lot of courage to invite a random stranger into her house. Not that Jae was any thread seriously, he was just a poor college kid who got locked out. He stood up and offered her a hand, taking the lunch box from her. ”In that case, thank you er…” he paused, he didn’t know her name yet. ”Oh I’m Jaeryun you are?”-bows- this is long overdue i'm so so so sorry!!! -headdesk- [/ul]
