It's been twenty-five years since the defeat of Easter. Amu and her friends didn't disband the Guardians, even though their existence was no longer imperative, and continued to protect their school. Finally, they entered middle school, and then high school, bringing the legend of the Guardians to each school with new meaning, but leaving the actual group behind with new members in their old school. Eventually they all graduated and went their separate ways, though they never stayed apart long and stayed in close contact.
Out of all of them, Amu probably had the most long-distance relationship. All those years, she stayed in contact with Ikuto, and when she graduated high school he sent her news that he'd found his father and that they'd formed a violinist duo. They then travelled all of Europe for several years before going back to Japan, where Ikuto finally proposed to Amu. They were married the summer after Amu's graduation from college, with their family already begun.
It seemed that around that time everyone had begun to settle down. Yuu Nikaidou and his wife Sanjou, Utau's manager, were about to have their third child; Utau received a proposal from her long-time boyfriend Kukai; Rima and Nagihiko finally began to date seriously. All their guardians' work may have been done, but they still had a whole new life to live and families and friends to protect.
Now a new generation of Guardians have made their mark on Seiyo Academy, all with respective charas and dreams. All is well, except for one small problem- rumours of a new Easter Company, much stronger than the first, have come up. This Easter is placed further away, in Sapporo. Still, this worries the ex-Guardians and current Guardians alike, and they keep a close eye on any news.
